CAPONE CREATIVE INDUSTRIES
NY / FL
CCI WAS FOUNDED BY MICHAEL CAPONE* to develop, produce and support bold creative storytelling across all media.
Michael started at the dawn of the independent film movement, studying under, then working with Academy Award winning Documentarians Julia Reichert and Jim Klein A stint as Assistant to the Producers of the first video game adaptation DOUBLE DRAGON followed as did work as a Producer and Co-Editor of the infamous true-crime docudrama THE MANSON FAMILY. All this served as prelude to a decades long career as a TV and film Editor. While amassing more than sixty credits, he also wrote, produced, directed and occasionally acted, experiences which honed his craft and passion for creative collaboration.
Though now primarily focused on developing projects of his own, Michael is also engaged in supporting other projects, chiefly in a producing capacity and is always interested in aiding the creation of unique stories. He continues to work with filmmaker David Gregory as an Editor and Co-Producer and remains (somewhat) open to other (irresistible) editing opportunities.
